After Foster Care
Aged Out, but Not Counted Out

CAD's goal is to reunite siblings and heal relationships among family who have been separated due to foster care.

Aged out youth can go on field trips and career study trips where they will spend hours, days, weeks or months with a top corporate executive, model family with excellent credit, a philantropist, celebrity with integrity or a wealthy thriving business owner.

After being exposed to new experiences and seeing things they may have never been that close to, they learn what it is like to open, advertise, operate and mange their own pop up businesses on weekends. During the week the will be the employee instead of the employer.
Part time work, part time entreprenuership, part time studying to enhance their academics, part time cleaning home , having fun, caring for some one and then down time to be alone and relax and reflect on all the good.

Of course support is always around when wanted or needed. They have a peer support friend, educational coach, financial advisor, a foster care support group, personal groomer to make them look good from head to toe, a personal shopper to upgrade their wardrobe and well being wrap around support to provide dental, mental, fitness, healthy cooking, family doctor, financial and inner spirit counseling and game time with a friend.

Without a doubt they will know their way home. No more having to figure out what uncomfortable couch, hard floor, abandoned building with nasty filth, dangerous alley, freeway underpass, human trafficking motel, park bench or sidewalk you will find day by day to lay your head down and get some rest. They get a key to a house, an apartment or an ifc dwelling they help build and will live in and call home. Transportation will be provided until they get their own by saving up their money they are going to earn.

Fun must be included so they learn games, sports, arts, recipes and see films and read books about people from all over the world. Giving back helping someone, the environment, neighbor community project or an animal will be their community service.

Follow up and evaluation is imperative, so surveys will be done, group and individual feedback, job retention check up, business ownership report, fundraising ideas and grant writing and filling application for funding will be part of their sustainability plan, family talk, journaling and being awarded as a professional among your family, peers and community despite all their circumstances and after foster care.
